Admissions
We welcome all children from 2 years to school age.
Places for 2 year olds are available on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday morning on the basis of the child attending two sessions per week, and with a maximum of four 2 year olds attending on any one morning.
2 and a half year olds can attend on any morning provided a place is available, with a minimum attendance of two sessions per week. Waiting lists are put into operation if a certain day becomes over subscribed.
The Pre-School is registered with Ofsted for up to 24 children, giving them all plenty of space to play and learn both indoors and outdoors.
Fees
An optional donation of £20 is very much appreciated with your application to cover administration costs and entitles your child to a school hat and bag when they start.
Our fees are currently £9.00 per morning session. Fees are payable half-termly in advance to secure the child's place and are not redeemable in the event of any absences. There is a 10% discount for a second child when you have two fee-paying children at Pre-School.
Please note that a full half-term's notice is required in advance if you wish to cancel your child's place at Pre-School or fees will be incurred.
Once your child is 3 years of age they can receive the Nursery Education Grant
Lunch Club
Lunch Club takes place on a Tuesday and Thursday for the over 3's from 12:15pm to 1pm. It is charged at £2.50 per session per child, invoiced in advance on the normal sessional charge invoices. A commitment to each Half Term in advance is required for your child.
Nursery Grant Funding
Nursery Education Grant (NEG) funding is available to all eligible children in the term after their 3rd birthday with funding dates commencing 1st September, 1st January and 1st April each term.
Your child is entitled to 15 hours FREE early years education per week which can be claimed across more than one setting, provided you do not claim more than 15 hours in total. Lunch and Afternoon Club hours can also be claimed as part of your child's 15 hours entitlement.
Each term, parents are required to sign a declaration form to confirm how many hours per week they are claiming with Stoke Goldington Pre-School. Our Treasurer will then claim the grant on your behalf and invoice for any extra hours not covered at the usual session rate.
Funding for 2 Year Olds
Milton Keynes Council are currently offering funding for 2 year olds whose family circumstances meet certain criteria. Our Pre-School Treasurer can provide more information about this funding is you believe you may be eligible.
